This simple tutorial will guide you on your way to getting your Steam Community ID!

This is the easiest method for gathering your own or someone else's community ID. Simply open up Steam and navigate to the SteamID page of the user (or yourself) who's community ID you wish to gain. Then, look up at the address bar of the community window and it should look something like this:

Simply copy that and paste it into the textbox and you're all set!

This method you will need to use if the user you are trying to copy's community ID is NOT shown in the browser URL box. For example:

In this case, copy the WHOLE URL from the address box and open up you're Internet browser. Paste the URL into your browser's address box and hit enter to load the steamID page through your browser. Find the "add as friend" button on the right hand side of the page:

Right click on that link and hit "Properties". This should open up an element properties window where you can find the community ID of the user:

Simply copy that link and paste it into the converter textbox and you're good to go!
